The Briefing of Physical Chess Pieces for Agess Chess:

This is 21st century “Pattern Chess”;
Agess (W+E) Chess is designed to overcome language barriers and to embed movement rules symmetrically into the pattern on the top surface.

This is a new type of chess, which will 

replace the puppet-style pieces in the West and the text-type pieces in the East.

The outline of “Physical Chess Pieces” looks like a round short pier, and the sizes of the chess pieces, having various diameters and thickness, are based on their Potential Values.

“Physical Chess Pieces” have advantage of good vision, and never have the trouble of tripping over.

Most notably, if those chesses are composed of 40 pieces (20 per side) in a box, they can be used on various types of chessboards and their original traditional rules.
